to respond to your question on my blog, yes, I draw with a Wacom tablet. Mine's a Volito. I don't think yours could possibly be smaller than mine though ... I mine isn't even 8 x 5. xD But i'm still very happy with it, and accustomed to using it---bigger tablets don't necessarily give better results.
And ... I think it is some kind of weird Chinese medicine, cuz I've never seen it used in Canada. =S
